Guess it's about time to blog again

Wedding wedding wedding...I'm now back to real life.  As sad as that is, it is the most wonderful feeling in all the world.  I'm a married woman.  I get a snuggle buddy at night (best thing ever!!).  I don't have to face new things alone.  Speaking of facing new things we traveled very quickly Monday night to Chicago in attempt to find our first home!  Today we found it!  I thought the perfect start to blogging again would be to share the first huge thing that my man and I have figured out together...our first address as "The Sullivans."

The entry way into our apartment.  Straight ahead is the bathroom.  To the right would be the living room and kitchen and to the left our bedroom.

Our enemy...every time we saw one of these the price seemed to go up.  We are investing in an I-Pass card immediately!!

So did anyone notice how dirty our apartment was?!  The people literally just moved out so no worries it will be much cleaner!!  Did anyone else notice how white everything is?  Well jump for joy because this girl can paint as much as she wants!!!!  I know I'm so excited!!!  Well that was a very big day and I so completely exhausted....little ones please be nice to me at work tomorrow!!  Off to go jump into bed with the best roommate ever!!!!!!!  EEEKKK!! I'm so lucky! :)

Yes, if you see the time I post this it is currently 6:44am.  But can you blame me,  how on earth could I possible sleep when it is so close to wedding day?!!!!!!!  So since there are only 3 days you can only imagine how small my countdown is.


3 days till we say "I DO"


2 days left of sleeping in my bed alone (Friday night all my bridesmaids are staying here!!! EEEK to much fun!)


1 day left of work (yes today will be the longest day of my entire life I am sure)


I guess there is really only one thing to do...pray for some gust of wind or cooler air because I think my fiancee is going to die before I can get that ring on his finger!  I am so incredibly thankful there is currently no rain in the forecast for Friday or Saturday, but is it being too greedy to ask for a little less heat?  Okay it is...but really what the heck?  We live in Minnesota.  Land of the frozen tundra most of the year!




Now, I'm off to get ready for my day.  Kung Fu Panda 2 and some Soldier's Field Pool time!  Let's just hope I don't get any bad tan lines at that pool after working so hard to not have any!

9...and still counting

Well it's official.  We are in single digits. If you would have asked me if I could even imagine how I would feel now when I started this count down at 499 I don't think I would come up with what I can tonight.


First question people now ask me.  "How are you doing? Are you stressed?"  I can't help but always think, "Well I was trying not to be but now that you mentioned it..."  Don't get me wrong, I have asked this question myself to multiple brides, but now I just see it in a different light as I AM THE BRIDE!  To answer their question...on day 10 and 9 of the count down I haven't been doing the greatest because of all the stress that came with these two days.  But every day other than yesterday and today...I am doing great and I know I will be back to fine again tomorrow!  


My goal right now is to have nothing to do as of Sunday night.  After I finish this post, I will start my to do's for each day until then.  "I think I can I think I can I think I can!!!"  


So what do my days look like right now you may ask?  
7:00am - alarm goes off
7:01am - Open computer and look at weather forecast (even if it changes every day.  We have gone from 80 to 84 to 92 on the Friday before. Why do I continue to torture myself?  I simply cannot resist is the only answer I have)
8:30am - Start camp day
4:30/5:00pm - Leave camp
5:30pm - WEDDING!!


As we continue to count down days, I continue to make the lists of lasts...Today was a freaky one when I thought of it.  Today was my LAST day of working on a Thursday as a single lady. CRAZY.  I can't even wrap my mind around how my life is going to change...for the better.


I can't wait to celebrate with you!!! In....

DAYS!!!


P.S. Thanks for those of you that were praying for me tonight as I tested once again!!!

The sounds of 13 days...

-birds chirping as I lay out and try to get every last bit of tan as I can
-paint brushes, vacuum cleaners, and wash clothes getting the last house touches ready
-typing on the computer to put in those very late last RSVP's
-silence, as I sit and try to remember everything that needs to get done.
-and whatever love sounds like...


Patrick and I are so excited as we keep checking off those days!!! I can't believe in 15 days I'll be a wife in Las Vegas!!!

P.S.  Ever wonder what Patrick and I do in our spare time?  Oh just the usual babysitting for a 2 year old and ten month old twins at bedtime...yeah we're not ready to be parents yet! But in the meantime we are still alive and had a whole bunch of fun!
